Shooting Days

The bottling plant in Spontin was not so renowned as Spa, but produced bottled water and soft drinks for Belgium. Spa bought the bottling company to kill off a possible competitor and the plant was closed some years later.

It's a really nice industrial place if you like this sort of urbex locations. We will go to this location during the shooting days in June. Warning: there is bad mobile coverage at the plant!

Spontin was een bekend watermerk (vooral in Brussel en Wallonië). De fabriek werd door Spa opgekocht om een concurrent uit de weg te ruimen en een paar jaren later werd de fabriek definitief gesloten. Het water dat opgevangen wordt gaat niet verloren, maar zorgt voor een deel van de waterbevoorrading van Brussel.

Het is een typische urbex lokatie, leuk om er te shooten als je van zulke lokaties houdt. We zulle naar deze plaats gaan tijdens de shooting days in juni. Opgelet, slechte GSM-ontvangst in de buurt!

Spontin était une source connue, tout comme Spa et Chaufontaine. Spa a racheté l'usine d'embouteillage pour tuer un concurrent possible et l'usine a fermé quelques années plus tard. L'eau qui est récoltée n'est pas perdue mais est utilisée pour approvisionner Bruxelles en eau potable.

C'est un endroit typiquement urbex et nous irons à Spontin lors des shooting days de juin. Attention, la réception GSM est très mauvaise dans le coin!
